DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge-DSC#178-You're So Sweet Shaker

 Holy Moley-time flies when you're having fun!! This week I have been having so much fun playing with the new items from the upcoming catalog. One of the perks of being a demonstrator and attending the OnStage Live event is Salt Lake City was that I was able to participate in the Pre-Order Purchase Premiere...it's a lot to try to say but it is worth it!!

Well, back to business. This weeks challenge is a Sketch Pad challenge. This is the sketch we were given as a jumping off point. 

 

 

While in Salt Lake City last week, I took a class on shaker cards. Shaker cards have never been my thing because I thought they must be difficult to make. Boy, was I ever wrong! They are easy peasy!! And super fun! I know you will want to give them a try!

Thursday Challenge-DSC#177-Marquee Messages

Hello Friends,

Wow! It has been a crazy couple weeks. Last week I was in Salt Lake City, attending Stampin' Up! Live aka a extremely large gathering of friends (both old and new) combined with lots of stamping, sneak peeks at the new catalog (LOVE LOVE LOVE IT and you will too) and an opportunity to play with some of the new products.

OK, back to reality. It is time for the DOstamperSTARS weekly challenge. This week was a color challenge, which I love. Why do I love the color challenge? Because quite often I wouldn't have considered combining the given colors...so it pushes me out of my comfort zone. Here we go...this weeks colors are: 

 

 

I used a new stamp set that was gifted to each of the demonstrators at the OnStage Live event in Salt Lake City. And the design idea was CASE'd (copy and share everything) from the one and only fabulous CEO of Stampin Up!-Sara Douglass. She is a wonderful woman and SASSY, which is probably why I adore her.

DSC#176-Hip Hip Hooray!

 Hello Thursday!! 

Time for another DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge and I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one. 

 

When I looked at this picture, I immediately thought:

• Nautical theme
• Blue and white
• crisp and clean

And this is what came from all those thoughts...

I love how the punched out stars show off the Silver Glimmer Paper that is inside the card. This card is simple and quick to make but delivers a lot of WOW!

It's All in the Details

• Tip: Remember to use the Embossing Buddy on your card stock to help reduce static. This will give you a crisper cleaner image when stamped and embossed.
