It's time for the DOstamper STARS Thursday Challenge. This weeks challenge was Sketch Pad. We were given a sketch and then had to let our creative juices start flowing. Ready to begin the adventure? Hang onto your hats, here we go!
My husband has mentioned on several occasions that I've never made a card for him and unfortunately he is correct. Please don't tell him I said that "he is correct", I don't want it to go to his head!
Until today.
Today's card is for my sweet supportive husband.
Hoping he loves it as much as I love him!
What do I need to create this beauty? aka Supply List
Stamp Set: Big News
Paper: Shine On Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP), 2014-2016 In-Color DSP Stack, Silver Glimmer Paper, Blackberry Bliss cardstock and Whisper White cardstock
Ink: Black Archival stampin' pad
Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels (one of the Weekly Deals this week) and Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack
It's All in the Details
- Tip: Instead of trimming each layer by 1/4", I created a thinner border by trimming each layer by 1/8". This gives a subtle border of Blackberry Bliss behind the Whisper White and the DSP layers.
