CaSE the Catty (CTC): Daisy Delight Bundle

Where do you find your inspiration?

I often find mine in the Stampin' Up! catalog...it's 234 pages of awesomeness!

Today's image that we are going to Copy and Selectively Edit is on page 55 of the new Annual Catalog.

Incidentally, if you do not have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator or a catalog-please let me know as I would love to pop one in the mail for you and earn your business.

This image was selected because it has a fun layout that could be adapted to many different sentiments and stamp sets. When I first looked at this picture, I immediately envisioned it using the new In-Color: Powder Pink.

Delightful Daisy Bundle Card

Emboss 4" x 5-1/4" piece of NEW In Color Powder Pink using Layering Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Adhere to folded 11" x 4-1/4" Powder Pink card base.
Stamp greeting (Delightful Daisy stamp set) with NEW In Color Tranquil Tide ink on Whisper White cardstock. Die cut with largest oval (Stitched Shapes Framelits).
Stamp daisy image (Delightful Daisy stamp set) on Powder Pink and Whisper White cardstock with Sweet Sugarplum ink. Punch daisy images out with coordinating Daisy Punch. Adhere daisy images together with Glue Dots.
Cut 2 scraps of Tranquil Tide and Crumb Cake cardstock approximately 1/2" wide, crumble up and then uncrumble to re-create the ribbon from the original card.
Adhere faux ribbon aka crumbled paper to back of daisy image and sentiment oval with Glue Dots, then adhere to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Add some sparkle with a Gold Faceted Gem.
Address the envelope, adhere stamp and pop in the mailbox to brighten someone's day.

DOstamper STARS Thursday Challenge No. 236: Flourishing Phrases & Swirly Scribbles

Time for the DOstamper STARS Thursday Challenge, this week it is a "Color My World" Challenge.

This week I was inspired by a card in the 2017-18 Annual Catalog. Do you recognize it?

Due to a family emergency, I flew home to Iowa 10 days ago. I have been trying to be crafty in my mom's craft room...not an easy task.

I had to scrounge around a bit but I did finally find some things that I could combine to create this beautiful card.

I now know what she will be getting for her birthday and Christmas.

I love the versatility of this card, with a few changes (colors or sentiment or both) you could have a completely different card.

What did I use to create this beauty? (scroll down to bottom for complete supply list and links)

Stamp Set: Swirly Birds and Flourishing Phrases

Paper: Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, Calypso Coral and Whisper White

Ink: Sweet Sugarplum, Calypso Coral, Whisper White Craft

Accessories: Swirly Scribbles Thinlits, Layering Circles Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Linen Thread

It's All in the Details:

Stamp greeting (Flourishing Phrases stamp set) with Whisper White Craft Ink on Calypso Coral cardstock, die cut with Stitched Shapes Framelit. Die cut scrap of Whisper White cardstock with scalloped circle from Layering Circle Framelits. Adhere circles together.
Stamp flower image (Swirly Bird stamp set) on Whisper White cardstock with Calypso Coral ink. Stamp circular images (Swirly Bird stamp set) on Whisper White cardstock with Sweet Sugarplum ink. Die cut with coordinating framelits (Swirly Scribbles Thinlits).
Die cut leaf shapes (Swirly Scribbles Thinlits) from Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper.
Die cut 4 large and 4 small swirls (Swirly Scribbles Thinlits) from Whisper White yardstick. Using Fine Tip Glue Pen, adhere swirls to 3-3/4" x 5" Whisper White layer, trim edges. Adhere Whisper White layer to folded 11" x 4-1/4" Calypso Coral card base.
Tie bow with approximately 6" piece of Linen Thread, adhere with Glue Dot.
Adhere flowers and leaves using Glue Dots and Stampin' Dimensionals.
Address envelope and send off to someone special.

My motivation was two-fold with this card...

Prostate Cancer Awareness.

The light blue ribbon is a symbol for prostate cancer, which has recently affected my family. Thankfully for our family and loved one, it was found relatively early and he choose to fight it aggressively.

Cancer doesn't discriminate, it is an equal opportunity killer.

Please take the time to have your medical check ups regularly and encourage your loved ones as well.

Enough preaching...let's get crafty!

Prostate Cancer Awareness Ribbon of Courage

Stamp greeting (Ribbon of Courage stamp set) with VersaMark and heat emboss on 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP). Adhere DSP to 4" x 5-1/4" Very Vanilla cardstock. Adhere panel to folded 11" x 4-1/4" Marina Mist card base.
Stamp ribbon image (Ribbon of Courage stamp set) on Marina Mist cardstock with Marina Mist ink. Stamp heart image (Ribbon of Courage stamp set) on Very Vanilla cardstock with Marina Mist ink. Die cut ribbon and heart images with coordinating framelits (Support Ribbon Framelits).
Die cut 2-5/8" circle (Layering Circle Framelits) from Very Vanilla and Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate. Die cut 2-3/8" circle from Vellum.
With glue dots attach 5" Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon, folded in half to back of ribbon image. Attach ribbon layers to Vellum. Attach Vellum to Foil Acetate. Attach Foil Acetate to Very Vanilla.
With Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere 12" Gold Mini Sequin Trim to DSP panel. Adhere Circle/Ribbon panel on top of sequin trim with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Adhere heart image with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Add some sparkle with Gold Faceted Gems.
Don't forget the inside of the card-I added a scrap piece of DSP to give it a nice finished look!
